Autographed acoustic guitar with original artwork from Chris Bilheimer being auctioned for charity

A charity in Athens, Georgia is auctioning off this really gorgeous Fender acoustic guitar donated to them by Chris Bilheimer. Chris has done all of Green Day's recent artwork for their albums, including American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. Along with the autographs by Green Day, the back of the guitar has the artwork from 21st Century Breakdown painted with the original stencils used for the album by Chris.




The auction ends tomorrow (April 15), and money for it goes toward a good cause. It's be great if some Green Day fan was able to pick this item up. 100% of the money goes toward the Nuçi’s Space charity. You can find out more about them on their site, nuci.org. Here's a brief summary from eBay:

"Nuci's Space is a non-profit support/resource center for musicians in Athens, Georgia. It was founded in memory of 22-year old musician Nuci Phillips who took his own life in 1996 after battling major depression. The aim of the organization is to provide obstacle free treatment for musicians suffering from depression and other such disorders as well as to assist in the emotional, physical and professional well-being of musicians."
